THE FOUNDER​

Shahzad (Shaz) Rind​

Shaz is a qualified lawyer and has worked with numerous companies throughout WA and Australia.

He is an expert in native title and has a fierce commitment to advancement and employment of Indigenous people.

Shaz is of  Yamatji and Baluchi (‘Afghan’ camel drivers) decent. His great grandmother was from the Badimaya clan of the Yamatji Tribe in the Murchison District of Western Australia (‘WA’), Mount Magnet. 

Shaz spent most of his younger life in the Pilbara town of Goldsworthy/Port Hedland. He moved around a lot because of his father’s work. Shaz went to boarding school in Geraldton WA, and went home to Koolan Island on my breaks.
